Louise Fili is an American Italian graphic designer, she loves to combine her passions and culture together in her work. Louise Fili Ltd was founded in 1989. Her work shows off her inherited culture with an elegant style to her fonts, she is very passionate about handwritten style designs. The work that she creates is used for packaging designs, restaurant buildings, logos, books and posters.

She has received Gold and Silver Medals from the Society of Illustrators and the New York Art Director’s Club, the Premio Grafico from the Bologna Book Fair, and three James Beard award nominations.

Before he got into Graphic Designing he was studying Sociology and became a psychiatrist, it wasn’t until the 1980’s when he changed his career and became a graphic designer by doing a workshop course in graphic designing where he then went to university on a graphic design course.

Chip Kidd is an American graphic designer who is best known for his work on book covers. He is based in New York City and thinks that making a good first impression is key. He has been a graphic designer for 25 years and in that time has created work that has been in the best selling lists for books.

Chip Kidd is responsible for over 75 book covers a year and has also been part of the team that created the Batman comics, as well as creating book front covers he has also wrote two books himself called Cheesy Monkeys and The Learners.

Neville Brody

Neville Brody is an English Graphic designer and typographer, he went to the London College Of Communication and Hornsey College of Art. In the beginning Neville Brody’s work began to get noticed for the designs that he had created on record covers and in the independent music scene in the early 1980’s. He was the art director of the fetish and he began to experiment with new visual language that was a mix of visual and architectural. His work on the ‘The Face’ magazine, from 1981 to 1986, is what put his work out there and gave him the reputation that he has, Neville’s work has also inspired many other graphic designers and the way that they approach their work.

Brody’s work began to be used in magazines, advertising and customer orientated graphics of the 80’s. To this day he continues to using striking and unique digital typefaces and his work and thoughts and approach and contribution on Graphic and typography is something that many artists in the future will look to for references and his techniques will be passed on for years.

Milton Glaser

Milton Glaser is an American graphic designer, born in 1929. His most recognisable work is the I heart NY and the psychedelic Bob Dylan poster, he is also the co-founder of Push Pins studio  founded New York Magazine with Clay Felker, and created Milton Glaser inc in 1974.
